With 30% technical personnel, New Chemphy is a highly technology oriented company. The company owns 132 patents and proprietary technologies. We have developed our proprietary leading technologies in the areas of heterocycles, chiral molecules, chlorination, fluorination, olefin-aldehyde condensation, cyclopropanation, hydrocyanation, organoboron compounds, green oxidation, phosgen chemistry, Grignard reactions, asymmetric catalysis, continuous fixed bed catalysis, high pressure reaction, low temperature reaction, thin film distillations, and so on.

As a high technology company, Chemphy has built a modern research and development center in Dalian Pharmaceutical and Biotech Park. It is a world first class research and development capabilities and the best R&D center among Chinese chemical and pharmaceutical companies. The center occupied 55,000 square feet floor space. It consists of synthesis laboratories, non-GMP kilo-labs, cGMP Kilo-labs, analytical center as well as supporting functions.



The People:
The department consists of more than 25 Ph.D. level and over 100 M.S. and B.S. level chemists. Technical groups are led by chemists and engineers with strong technical background and experiences, most of them are in Ph.D. level. We continue on hiring outstanding chemical professionals globally. We have brought many excellent chemists from USA, Japan and Europe to join our team. It is an international team.



The Equipment:
The laboratories are equipped with the most up-to-date equipments. Finger print ID systems are installed for all entrances to each laboratory for IP protection and security. Ventilation systems are equipped with the modern air-flow control technology. The major instruments include Bruker 400 mega hertz NMR, Agilent LC-mass, Agilent GC-mass, TGA/DSC, and so on. The company also has RC1 for process safety evaluation.
